What Auto Gator Does
Auto Gator is a full-service auto recycler located in Roseville, California — the heart of Northern California's Central Valley. We specialize in late-model salvage auto parts for all makes and models, and we also sell late-model repairable and salvage vehicles direct to the public, dealers, and rebuilders.
Our facility sits on over ten acres of clean, organized inventory in a mild Northern California climate — which means parts that are better preserved and longer-lasting than those sourced from harsher environments. Whether you need a single door panel or a complete drivetrain, we have the inventory, the expertise, and the systems to get you the right part at the right price.
Beyond parts and vehicles, we operate a We Buy Cars program — purchasing used, damaged, and non-running vehicles directly from the public throughout the greater Sacramento region. We offer fair, transparent pricing and handle all the logistics.
Our History
Auto Gator was established in 1981, and we have been serving our customers — and the environment — ever since. Over four decades in business, we have grown from a small local operation into one of Northern California's most respected auto recycling facilities.

Environmental Responsibility
Auto recycling is one of the most environmentally significant industries in the United States. Every vehicle that passes through our facility is processed according to strict environmental standards — all fluids (motor oil, transmission fluid, coolant, brake fluid, refrigerants) are safely extracted and recycled or disposed of through licensed handlers. Batteries, catalytic converters, and airbag components are handled according to state and federal regulations.
Choosing a recycled auto part instead of a new manufactured part conserves the raw materials, energy, and emissions that would have gone into producing that part from scratch. ARA — Automotive Recyclers Association
Since 1943, the Automotive Recyclers Association has represented an industry dedicated to the efficient removal and reuse of automotive parts, and the safe disposal of inoperable motor vehicles. ARA serves approximately 1,000 member companies directly and over 2,000 through affiliated chapters across 12 countries. ARA is the only trade association serving the automotive recycling industry internationally, and promotes aggressive environmental management programs to assist member facilities in maintaining proper fluid and solid waste management techniques.
URG — United Recyclers Group
Established in 1995, United Recyclers Group was created by auto recyclers to bring better control over parts data and inventory management to the industry. Today, URG is the largest progressive group of auto recyclers in North America, with over 250 partners throughout the U.S. and Canada. URG's cooperative model gives independent recyclers access to the data, technology, and purchasing power that helps them compete and serve customers at the highest level.
